rEBEKAH'S WRITING!
I have been writing for so long I can't really remember when I started. I began writing MystIris five year's ago. Yes FIVE years!
I finished reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare, put it down on my bedside table, picked up my laptop, opened a word document and began writing the first few chapters. The flowed out of me faster than any writing I had done before. All I could think was that I wanted to create something that caused that amount emotion in someone else!
MystIris was the first substantial idea I had ever had. The character's just walked into my head, the plot just formed under my fingers and I couldn't stop writing. Or at least for a while I couldn't stop.
I hit my first wall while writing about seven chapters in and I couldn't get past it, at the time I didn't have the will power. I gave up, saved the document and left it for over two years. I picked up A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas last year and the will to write my story resurfaced. I had to share MystIris with people. After reading all of Sarah's books my will came back, I was detemind to finish it. I am so close to the end now and I can't thank the people who have helped me on this journey enough!

MystIris is a YA contemporay fantasy telling the story of an eighteen year old girl after she finds a key that opens a door to another world... That key causes everyting in her life to change.
MystIris will hopefully be a series of at least three books and I cannot wait to get further into the world!

When Lily recieves a letter from her long since disappeared mother her world turns upside down. Suddenly strange things are happening all around her -- a door to another world, strange superpowers, an insane woman conducting experiments -- and in the middle of it all, Lily must try to find her mother, and save the people she loves.

Beyond The Darkness
Beyond the Darkness is a high fantasy trilogy idea I got when listening to a piece of music (Beyond the Veil by Lindsey Stirling). I have planned it and I'm very excited to start writing it when MystIris is closer to being finished!
